space-oddity's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- some minor complaints i burnt the roof of my mouth last night when i was too anxious to eat a slice of pizza, and wouldn't you know that just a minute ago i thought it wise to eat a bowl of cereal. big mistake. the stuff scraped at the existing charred skin in my mouth, irritating it like something horrible, and then i went for the orange juice. ouchy. citrus acid burns when poured on open wounds. i'm a fucking moron. i've been on a jane austen film kick. it's pathetic. i've watched sense & sensibility, pride & prejudice, and persuasion all in one week. i was afraid to rent persuasion after i saw the cover box in the video store made the film look like some kind of early nineteenth century sex romp, but i ended up being pleasantly surprised when i found that the box, for some reason, had two people on the cover that weren't even in the movie. at first i thought it was the wrong box, but no, i later turned it over and there were screen captures on the back from the movie itself. i don't know what the fuck went wrong there. i've never understood why production companies do that. mark was right when he was talking about the cover to cider house rules. charlize theron never wore that dress in the movie. it's all very misleading. 12:41 pm - 08.25.02 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
