space-oddity's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- written word i don't even really like blue, not this much anyway. i don't know what i was thinking. have you seen red dragon? i thought it was alright, in fact pretty good, at least up until the very last minute of the movie. and then, of course, i had to get manhunter that same day and take a look at that, too. i figured i would have picked up a few pieces from the 80's version that i missed while i watched red dragon, but really it was just as scattered. like many films that were novels first, there are just too many little details that need some sort of explanation, and there is never enough time in a feature length film to do any of the explaining. it's rough. the bookworms are right. the books are always better than the movies, and you should always read the book first. when will i ever learn from this? really, the time i sat down to watch demi moore's scarlet letter, i should have learned. does everyone love the food network as much as i do? 12:24 pm - 10.11.02 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
