space-oddity's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just some things i got off work two hours early tonight. clay still thinks i'm there, and he's out buying christmas presents for me. i wonder if, in a minute, i should get into the closet and wait for him to come home and hide the loot or just blindfold myself and wait. i'd rather be surprised, and i don't want to see what kind of bags he's holding. i figure at least in the closet i can bring a flashlight and read in the dark old school style. i'm talking first grade style when my mom wouldn't let me stay up late reading highlights for children. also, i think i've been misusing and abusing dictionary.com because i had a dream the other night that it became a pay site, and i looked up too many words in a 24 hour period and wasn't allowed to look up anymore, and i got all bummed out and stuff. oh, and at work there are a lot of temps coming in and out of the building everyday 'cos 'tis the season and all that, and we're busy, and i've noticed that when you're a temp, you're allowed to fuck up all the time, and people just come by and fix stuff for you and don't get mad that they have to fix it in the first place because, hey, you're temporary, and you don't matter, and there's no use getting angry at something that doesn't matter. so the life of a temp is becoming more appealing everyday. as a temp, one can just travel to company to company fucking shit up, and there are hardly any bad repercussions. you never really have be skilled at anything and you work whenever you want with whomever you want, sorta. anywho, there are some minuses, like not having benefits and things and such. that's something to think about. 8:40 pm - 12.22.02 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
