space-oddity's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- may update yeesh. i haven't done this in a while. strange. i don't have much to say. work's been biting my balls as usual, but it's not like i'm jumping at a chance to find another job, either. i'm even thinking of picking up some overtime, or "OT" as the real serious folk like to put it, because i think i need the extra money. time and a half is sweetness, and surprisingly, the two jobs without the OT is not enough for my insatiable appetite for online shopping. i went hiking last week, and we saw a pretty waterfall called rainbow falls. we found a neat rock near the water and leaned against it, resting our feet on the rock in front of us. we sat and ate turkey and cheese sandwiches from little ziplock bags. that was a good day. the day before that, clay's brother graduated from high school. i haven't been to one of those since i graduated, so i took the day off to attend. it was typical, except for the fact that i waited for the cheesy speeches the students normally give, and then for some reason they didn't do it at this ceremony. i had to give one at mine. as expected, my speech was really bad and full of fluff, and that's probably why i had this extreme urge to vomit before and after. nervous. yep. i'm sitting here trying to think of things i need to include in this update, and i'm just getting little random snapshots of events, but i'm not feeling that any of it needs to be mentioned. it'd be nice to have a digital camera, to have the abilty to snap each little moment and recap it all with a line of photos. that's really nice. i want a new camera. too bad i'd rather spend my money on cheap crap and beer. there is a hip little place here in knoxville now, and not too many people know about this yet, but there's a midnight sushi bar, and it's just fucking wonderful, of course. we went this weekend, and we had tuna and noodles and fried tofu and sapporo. at midnight. yummy yummy. yes. indeed. no one but strangers has been reading my diary. some people searching for, "video store phone cookie," "cardboard chest o," and, "jamie lee curtis porno," have all stumbled upon this diary today. yikes. i'm going to watch martha inc. - the story of martha stewart now. yes, everybody laugh. you whores! 12:48 am - 05.20.03 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
