space-oddity's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- clothes horses sad to say it, but one of the best things about going to visit dad is that he has a dish hooked up to his television set, and this allows for me to watch bbc america morning til night. unfortunately, i wasn't there that long, and the little time that i did have had to be spent on doing other things. anywho, i did get to watch a few hours, spent sadly and mostly on back to back episodes of what not to wear. eeee. i have problems with this show. okay, first of all, the tall, lanky host looks good in all clothes because a.)she's tall and b.)she's lanky. that kind of body is made for wearing clothes, no matter make or style. okay, second, the other host, the frumpy one, she just looks, well, frumpy. and knowing this from the get go, i just don't think it's fair and just for them to hack into these people's wardrobes and go on the way that they do. yes, yes, these poor women agree to be on the show, but who wouldn't? they're giving away �2000. though after watching a couple of episodes, i just figured there wasn't a need to have anymore shows 'cos it seems like one could gather everything one would need to know about a fashionable wardrobe from watching just one show. it's all about the deep "v" and a straighter trouser leg. it's all about putting color with color and being sexy. yes. that's it. oh hell, why am i going on about this? i've been so into fashion and clothes lately, and i don't think it's a very becoming side of my state of mind. it's rubbish, really, and a waste of time and money, but here i go, off for more online clothes shopping. a shallow personality flaw or a penchant for spending money? i do not know.
